When I was introduced to Model Magic, I knew we needed to have some available to our teachers. It is lightweight, easy to use, the colors mix together easily, and does not make a mess. Plus it dries on its own.

Best way to buy this item. The retail packages of this clay comes in bigger packages - so kids open it and need to use a whole bunch of it before it dries. This ones has tons of small packages - one of each color usually enough to entertain the kids for an hour or more.

This durable, easy-to-use modeling compound is one of the best products on the market for children. Gone are my days of picking up dried pieces of Play-Doh, as this is not at all like Play-Doh, except for the fact that you can mold it. It's very pliable, lightweight, and dries exactly as you leave it without the cracks that Play-Doh is famous for. You can paint on the dried product, so I suggest the white color to keep your child from mixing them all together.
